Frequently Asked Questions On PG Application

(Q 1.) I have obtain my PIN but don't know how to log in and submit my application information.
Answer :You must activate an account first before you can log in and submit your application information. Click on the PG Online Application link for a detailed guideline.

(Q 2.) I have submitted my application but want to change some information on my submission. Can i edit my application ?
Answer : Yes, you can come back for an unlimited number of times to edit and re-submit your application as long as it is within the application period.

(Q 3.) If i forgot my login username or password, can i retrieve them ?
Answer : Yes, you can retrieve your login username or password by reporting to the officer in charge at the ICT Unit with your application/PIN details.

(Q 4.) It has been 48 hours since my payment at the bank and am yet to receive my PIN. What should i do ?
Answer : Report to the officer in charge at the ICT Unit with your bank teller. Your PIN will be retrieved for you.

(Q 5.) I keep on getting an error message "Invalid PIN". What does this mean ?
Answer : It means your PIN is not in the Portal database. Report to the officer in charge at the ICT Unit with your PIN text to validate the authenticity of your PIN.

(Q 6.) I keep on getting an error message "PIN Already Used". What does this mean ?
Answer : It means the PIN you are attempting to use has already been used by another applicant. Report to the officer in charge at the ICT Unit with your PIN information to validate the authenticity of your PIN.

(Q 7.) I keep on getting an error message "An illegal choice has been detected. Please contact the site administrator". What does this mean ?
Answer : It means that you are attempting to save your information without selecting the values of a sequential combo boxes accordingly (e.g Nationality, State, LGA Values). Select the boxes accordingly and re-submit your application.

(Q 8.) Is there any Special arrangements for applicant with disabilities to use the online portal ?
Answer : Special arrangements can be made for applicants who, due to a disability, cannot apply online. Applicants who fall into this category should contact the ICT Unit through the contact form or visit the unit in person.
